Excerpt from jury report:: Aaron Ettinger has shown immense commitment to diversifying the IR discipline. This is seen in his publications on IR pedagogy and the testimony of his students. His course evaluations show his relatability, accessibility, and infectious passion. To quote a former student “the moment I was introduced by Dr. Ettinger to the notion that who I was mattered to international politics was a pivotal moment for me”. This dedication to accessibility also drives Dr. Ettinger’s work to bridge the gap between the classroom and the community, seen in his many speaking engagements with student groups and community associations.
